At a sleepover you either invite friends over or host one at your place. Additionally, you stay awake late at night while enjoying movies, or gossiping. However, if you want to plan a more fun and exciting night, then below-mentioned are some fun things to do at a sleepover.

On a regular day with friends you could go out to a mall, spend some time shopping or play arcade games. However, it is not safe to go out at night hence here are a few indoor activities that you can try!

If fashion is your passion, then lay out random things from your wardrobe and style a friend. You can make the outfit look absolutely hideous or fabulous, it is your choice!

Moreover, you can make it more interesting by pretending to walk on the red carpet and making a grand entrance!

  1. Throw A Party

Gather your favourite snacks and beverages, set up a table and don’t forget to add varieties in your snacks. Furthermore, get speakers and play music at a volume that doesn’t disturb anyone else, and dance to your favourite music with your friends and enjoy!

  1. Build A Fort

While it may seem childish, it is a great way to set an ambience.

You can build a fort using pillows and bed sheets and decorate it with some fairy lights. Furthermore, bring your laptop and binge fun movies along with your favourite snacks.

  1. Try Out Different Hairstyles

Try out different hairstyles on each other while having a fun gossip session! There are various tutorials on YouTube and style one anotherโ€™s hair!

Furthermore, to make it more interesting you can also do each other’s nails or have an in-home spa day!

  1. Get Tattoos

Not real ones, but pick out designs and draw it on each other with the help of a tracing paper. To make it more realistic use black ink!

  1. Charades

Play a game of charades with your friends. For this, you need to split into a group of 3 or more people. The first team gives a movie to a person from the second team, and they have to act it out. If team two is able to guess the movie they win, but if they donโ€™t, they lose.

  1. Truth Or Dare

Grab a bottle, and spin it. You need a minimum of 3 people for this game. Set the rules on what direction you want to take your game in and decide which side of the bottle asks the questions and which side answers them.

  1. Two Truths And One Lie

Two truths and one lie is a game in which each player gets a chance to say 2 things which are lies and one thing which is true. The other player has to guess which one is the truth and which two are the lies. 

This game is fun as you get to know a lot of juicy secrets about one another and also helps you get closer to your friends.

  1. Blind Fold And Guess

Make the blindfold game more interesting. The person that dens has to guess who they have caught. If they guess it wrongly they have to start the game over. This adds a fun twist to the game and makes it more interesting.

  1. Post It Games

You will require a lot of post-it notes for this. Divide each other into two teams. Now, both teams have to cover each other with as many post-it notes as possible.ย 

Once, everyone is covered with Post-it notes. They have to shake it off without using their hands! The team that gets all the posts out first wins!

How To Convince Your Parents For A Sleepover?

Understand that parents are concerned about their childrenโ€™s safety at all times. Hence, if you want to convince your parents make sure they know your friend and their family well. You can also ask your friend’s parents to speak to assure them.

Additionally, ask your parents when they are in a good mood and share all the details of your friend such as their name, address and phone number.
